Bangalore, Oct 23 (UNI) Malaysia Airlines today announced 80 per cent waiver on next business class ticket to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as part of its tactical promotional airfare, South Asia Regional Manager Christopher Yek Hua Hong said today.

Talking to newsperson here, Mr Hong said the new product was aligned with the Malaysia Airlines current flight enhancement from Bangalore Gateway.

On purchase of one business class ticket, the traveller can avail an attractive waiver of 80 per cent on the next business class ticket valid from November 15.

The airlines will now operate four weekly flights on Saturdays from November from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur with total seat capacity of 1,168 per week.

He said Bangalore was fast emerging as the prominent international gateway for Malaysia Airlines' India operations, particularly beyond Kuala Lumpur routes.

''Our load factor from Bangalore has positively increased by ten per cent as compared to last year,'' he said.

The Airlines was ready to enhance its presence in the Bangalore Gateway to cater to the burgeoning IT and business traffic from this region.

With new flight enhancement from Chennai and Bangalore Gateways, the Airlines would now operate 30 weekly flights from the current five in India comprising New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, he said.

The Airlines would now offer seven flights per week from New Delhi and Mumbai, nine weekly flights from Chennai, four from Bangalore and three from Hyderabad, he said.
