Live grenade found in Kashmir's temple town

Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) A live grenade was found in the temple town of Mattan in Anantnag district of south Kashmir today, police said.

They said the hand grenade was found lying at Kehribal in Mattan town, about three km from the historic Sun temple of Martand, in Anantnag district.

A bomb disposal squad of the state police later destroyed the grenade without causing any damage, police added.
