Godrej Consumer Q2 net up 28.88pc at Rs 33.69 cr

New Delhi, Oct 23: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd today said it has registered 28.88 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 33.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 26.14 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.

Total income also rose 15.66 per cent to Rs 211.73 crore from Rs 183.06 crore in the said period.

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 37.06 crore for Q2 FY2007-08 as compared to Rs 31.00 crore for the same quarter during previous fiscal, a jump of 19.54 per cent.

Total income has increased 17.34 per cent to Rs 275.37 crore from Rs 234.66 crore in the said period.
