Delhi gets slight respite from chill

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Delhi got a slight reprieve from chilly weather today as the minimum temperature rose by a degree to 17.7 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal.

However, the maximum temperature dipped by two degrees to 32.2 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 34.5 degrees celsius. Yesterday the minimum temperature was recorded at 16.2 degree celsius.

Last week the minimum temperature hovered around the 18 degree Celsius mark.

Chilly weather is likely to persist for the rest of the week with the weathermen forecasting that the minimum temperature will remain at around 17 degrees celsius tomorrow as well.

They have forecast a rise in maximum temperature to 34 degree Celsius tomorrow.
