CPI demands hike in MSP for paddy
Tirupati, Oct 23 (UNI) CPI Andhra Pradesh unit Secretary K Narayana today demanded that the state and union governments should increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy to Rs 1000.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Narayana said the CPI along with the CPI(M) would stage dharnas in front of all the district collectorates in the state on October 25 to mount pressure on the state government in this regard.
The Left parties and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would stage a road blockade tomorrow at Srikalahasthi.
