CII kickstarts Gulf roadshow for Bangalore fair

Dubai, Oct 23 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) kickstarted the Gulf roadshow for Excon 2007, India's largest and only focused construction equipment and construction technology trade fair to be held in Bangalore in November.

The fair being organised in association with Indian Earthmoving and Construction Industry Association Ltd (IECIAL), between November 14 and 18 is expected to attract 300 exhibitors and 55,000 business visitors.

Mr Glenville da Silva, Member, Excon 2007 Steering Committee and Managing Director, Road Machinery, Volvo India told reporters that Excon is Asia's third largest trade fair for equipment industry and amongst world's top ten construction equipment and construction technology trade fairs.

The exhibition serves as a one-stop shop for construction equipments and related spares, accessories in India. It also features live demonstrations of latest developments and advancements in construction equipments and technologies.

Apart from the exhibition, Excon 2007 is organising a global/group CEO's session and an international conference on construction equipment industry. The Group CEO's session on Indian Construction Equipment Industry: Prospects&Opportunities will be held on November 14.
