Call money opens low at 6.00 pc

Mumbai, Oct 23 (UNI) Inter bank call money rates today opened low at 6.00 per cent (pc) compared to its previous close of 6.05-6.10 pc due to sufficient funds and lack of demand from bankers.

During the intra-day, call rates fluctuated between 6.00 and 6.20 per cent dealers said.

The rates have been hovering in the range of 6.00-6.15 per cent during the past few weeks and are likely to remain at this level in near future, dealers added.
