Business Objects opens India Development Centre
Bangalore, Oct 23 (UNI) Business Objects, a leading provider of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced the opening of India Development Centre (IDC) here.
The new centre was committed to tap India's intellectual capital, a release quoted Business Objects Asia-Pacific and Japan Senior Vice President Keith Budge as saying.
'' The IDC extends our aim of operating on a truly global delivery scale both from an R&D and a business perspective'' he added.
The IDC aims at maximising research and development resources while maintaining the focus on bringing localised products faster to the market.
The company's other three global R&D facilities were in Vancouver, Canada, Levallois , France and Shanghai, China.
The IDC currently employs over 300 engineers and plans to add another 200 over the next three years, the release added.
