AP Cabinet approves land for Integrated Textile Park

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today gave its approval for allocating 750 acres of land to Sri Lankan company MAS Holding Private Limited for setting up a Rs 1,200 crore Integrated Textile Park with Special Economic Zones (SEZs) status in Nellore district.

The Centre had issued a formal notification for providing SEZ status for the venture which would provide direct employment to 31,000 unemployed youth, Information Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy told reporters here.

The State Government had signed a into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company for setting up an Integrated Apparel Park at Chintavaram, Ballavolu and Addepalli in the district.
