AP Cabinet approves 5.65 per cent hike in DA

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today approved a 5.65 per cent hike in the Dearness Allowance for government employees.

Information Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy told reporters that the hike would benefit 13.45 lakh government employees, costing the state exchequer an additional expenditure of Rs 645.75 crore per year.
