About 20 juvenile delinquents escaped from remand home

Patna, Oct 23 (UNI) More than 20 juvenile delinquents escaped from child remand home at Gaighat here today after breaking the panes of the rear window, when its employees were engaged in cooking food for them.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Suresh Chaudhary said that five delinquents were arrested while search operation was on to trace the others. Exact figure of those escaped from the remand home could be ascertained only after the proper counting of its inmates, he added.

''Search operation was launched following the receipt of the complaint lodged at concerned police station by the security staff of the remand home,'' Mr Chaudhary said.
