4 die of malaria, toll at 225

Mainpuri, Oct 23 (UNI) The toll due to malaria and viral fever has climbed to 225, following the death of four persons, including three children, in the last 24 hours here.

The fresh deaths were reported from Ramhi village, where Sanjana (4), Roshni (4), Ravita (8) and Kiran (22) succumbed.

The deadly disease mostly affects children.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) A C Verma said efforts were on to fight the disease.
