2 girls drowned

Sonebhadra, Oct 23 (UNI) Two girls drowned in a canal, while fishing in Pannuganj area of this district.

Police said today Aliya Devi (12) and Kumari Chote (11), residents of Khogva village, slipped into the deep waters of the canal during fishing late yesterday.

The bodies had been fished out.
