Youth shot dead on Dusheera night

Fatehgarh Sahib, Oct 22 (UNI) A 29-year-old youth was shot dead at Manupur village yesterday night when he was returning to his home after attending Dusheera celebrations.

According to police sources, the body of Karanbir Khan, a resident of Dubali village of the district was found in his three-wheeler near Manupur village by some villagers.

Police has ruled out robbery to be the motive behind the crimeas cash of Rs 900 and a mobile set was recovered from the pocket of the victim.

The Fatehgarh Sahib police has registered a case under section 302 of the IPC. No arrests have been made so far.
