Rs 1 lakh car not possible: Hyundai

New Delhi, Oct 22, 2007: Targeting the rival car maker Tata, Hyundai Executives said that it was not possible to make a Rs one lakh car, if one takes into account the safety issues and norms and input costs.

Hyundai plans to tap the potential of low-cost car market in India, some time soon, as it has the technology and is well equipped for the project. After Tata motors announced its plan to launch the Rs 1 lakh car,now Hyundai has also come up with a plan to bring an entry-level car.
