Three shot dead in Manipur

Imphal, Oct 22 (UNI) Three persons were shot dead during the last 24 hours in two separate incidents.

Police said two persons had been called out from their residences at Yorbung and later shot dead today.

In another incident, a 45-year-old man was shot dead and another injured by unidentified gunmen late last night at Tera Sadokpam, Imphal. Another person, injured in the incident, was still battling for his life at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS),Imphal.

The deceased and thwe injured have been identified by the police.

Meanwhile, Imphal West SP Clay Khongsai today said, three cadres of Kuki Revolutionary Army were nabbed by the police in two separate incidents on Saturday last. Demand letters had been recovered from the cadres, the SP said.
