Three injured in Kashmir blasts

Srinagar, Oct 22 (UNI) Three people were injured when explosives went off at two different places across the Kashmir valley today, police said.

They said two people-- Aziz Malik and Abdullah Malik (both residents of Shunglipora Khag in Badgam district of central Kashmir) -- were collecting splinters at Toosa Maidan in Khag during which one bomb exploded.

Due to the explosion, both the people sustained injuries and were hospitalised. Police have registered a case in this regard.

In another incident, a ten-year-old boy, Mohammad Rafiq Koli, a resident of Arin in Bandipora district of north Kashmir, was injured in Semthan forests when an explosive went off.

The injured was rushed to the Bone and Joint hospital here for treatment, police added.
