SBI MF launches first Capital Protection Oriented Fund

Hyderabad, Oct 22 (UNI) State Bank of India (SBI) Mutual Fund, one of the leading mutual fund houses in the country, today launched 'SBI Capital Protection Oriented Fund Series 1', its first capital protection oriented fund.

The main objective of the fund would be to protect the capital invested through focused investments in debt and money market instruments as well as equity. It also sought to provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital, a company release here said.

SBI Mutual Fund MD and CEO S Shahabuddin said protecting the investors' money had always been the company's foremost priority. It had been SBI MF's endeavour to come out with new products to provide efficient and prompt service to investors and cater to their investment and servicing needs.
