Rolta Q1 net up 53.35%

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Engineering services provider Rolta India Ltd today registered a net profit of Rs 61.39 crore for the second quarter ending September against Rs 40.03 crore in the corresponding period previous year, up by 53.35 per cent.

The total income also soared from Rs 133.60 crore in the same period last year to Rs 203.64 crore during the quarter ended September this year, a company statement said.

The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 53.82 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as compared to Rs 37.32 crore for the quarter ended September 2006.

The total income has increased from Rs 157.28 crore for the quarter ended September 2006 to Rs 230.66 crore for the quarter nded September 2007.
