Reports of PM resignation 'baseless speculation': Congress

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The Congress today dismissed as "baseless speculation" reports that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has offered to resign over the India-US nuclear deal issue.

"I do not react to baseless speculations, neither should you," Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here.

He was replying to questions on whether the Prime Minister has offered to resign during the meeting of UPA allies and Congress leaders ahead of the UPA-Left coordination committee meeting on the nuclear deal.
