Notorious criminal gunned down

Lucknow, Oct 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Police today gunned down a notorious criminal carrying a reward of Rs 12,500 in an encounter under Partapur area of Meerut district.

According to police headquarters here, Dimple Tyagi was killed at Itla village.

A 9 mm US-made pistol was seized from the spot.

The Tyagi had 23 cases of heinous crimes registered against him.
