Minister Monazirs father passes away

Patna, Oct 22 (UNI) Mr Abdul Kayoom, father of Bihar's Building Construction Minister Monazir Hassan, died of cardiac arrest here this morning.

He was 80.

Mr Kayoom died at Patna Medical College Hospital where he was admitted today following a breathing problem.

The mortal remains of Mr Kayoom would be buried at the graveyard in Munger this evening.

Former chief minister and leader of the Opposition Rabri Devi condoled the death and expressed sympathy for the bereaved family.
