ITBP personnel honoured on Raising day

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Officers and jawans of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were today decorated by the Director General's insignia and commendation letters in recognition of their exceptional service and outstanding performance in different fields.

Sixty officers, SOs and jawans were decorated with the award by ITBP Director General V K Joshi on the occasion of its 46th Raising Day.

Mr Joshi took salute at an impressive parade and paid homage to the ITBP martyrs who made supreme sacrifice in their service to the nation in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country in line of duty.
