India Cements Q2 net at Rs 222.65 cr

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) India Cements Ltd today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 222.65 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 whereas it was at Rs 117.32 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.

Total Income stood at Rs 896.09 crore for the Q2 FY 2007-08 against Rs 591.50 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

The figures of the current quarter are not comparable with the corresponding figures due to it's merger with Visaka Cement Industry Ltd, company said in a statement.
