Hooda expresses sorrow over Kapoor's death

Chandigarh, Oct 22 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed ''deep shock and sorrow'' over the death of Ambala District Congress Vice President Balbir Kapoor who lost his life in a road accident yesterday.

In a condolence message issued here today, the Chief Minister described Mr Kapoor as a promising youth leader of the Haryana Youth Congress who served the society as a diligent social worker by helping the poor and the needy persons.

The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed to God that the departed soul might rest in peace.

Media Advisor to Chief Minister Sunder Pal Singh also mourned the demise of Mr Balbir Kapoor and conveyed his deep sense of sympathy and solace to the members of the bereaved family.

He prayed to God to ''give courage to the family of late Balbir Kapoor to bear this irreparable loss.'' UNI
