Hindustan Zinc Q2 net dips 11.55%

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Hindustan Zinc, a part of the UK-based Vedanta Resources Plc has posted a 11.55 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 1,148 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 1,298 crore in the same quarter last year.

The total income also decreased from Rs 2,492 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 2,128 crore during September 30, 2007, the company said in a statement.
