Four youths drowned

Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 22 (UNI) Four youths were drowned in Kinnersani river while they were immersing Durga idols on the concluding day of 'Navaratri' festival near Burgampadu village in Khammam district today, police said.

Police added the victims were identified as Madhava Reddy, Tirupati Reddy, Narsi Reddy and Venkat Pichaiah.

The body of Pichaiah was fished out from the river. Efforts were on to trace the remaining three bodies, police said.
