Film on ISKCON blast released

Imphal, Oct 22 (UNI) A short film, based on the blast which occurred on August 16, 2006, during Janmashtami celebrations at the ISKCON temple, has been released here.

Sources today said that the 23-minute film, named ''Karigi'' (Why), was directed by B Sanju and produced by Ajit Das, an ISKCON devotee.

Real footage of the incident and interviews of the injured were also shown here yesterday.

Later, a discussion on the film was also held.

At least six persons had died and 52 injured in the blast.

The state government had failed to nab those involved in the blast so far, the sources added.
