Deccan launches tele check-in facility
Bangalore, Oct 22 (UNI) Deccan (erstwhile Air Deccan), Country's fastest growing low cost carrier, today announced the launch of tele check-in facility for all its passengers at all its 65 destinations.
Company officiating CEO Ramki Sundaram said in a statement here that the tele check-in facility would help passengers manage congestion both inside and outside the airport.
''While other airlines restrict tele check-in facility to an 'elite' group of passengers, at Deccan, we believe that our facilities should be inclusive of all our passengers and encourage more people to experience Deccan,'' he added.
The statement said passengers flying to any destination on the Deccan network and carrying only a cabin bag could tele check-in from 24 hours up to two hours prior to the departure time. Those who have tele checked in must report to the airport at least 45 minutes before the departure to collect their boarding passes.
The passengers should dial a centralised tele check-in number 39008888 (IVR 5) to avail the facility, the release said.
