CPI (Maoist) sub-zonal commander arrested in Gaya

Gaya, Oct 22 (UNI) A sub-zonal commander of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested at Rana village under Konch police station in this district.

Police today said acting on a tip-off, a hideout at Rana village was raided and Bachchu Mali alias Satishjee, a sub-zonal commander of the outfit, was apprehended.

Incriminating documents and explosive materials were recoverect from his possession, sources said, adding that Mali was wanted by the police in connection with several criminal cases lodged in Jehanabad and Gaya districts.
