4 devotees killed in HP accident

Kullu, Oct 22 (UNI) Four devotees were killed and nine injured, four of them seriously when the vehicle carrying them to the famous Kullu Dussehra festival overturned in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, police sources said today.

The accident occurred at Panarsa, about 18 km from here yesterday.

The sources said while two persons identified as Ramdas (43) and Sant Ram (48) died on the spot, two others identified as Laldas and Shiv Ram succumbed to their injuries on way to the hospital.

The seriously injured were referred to the PGI, Chandigarh while the rest were admitted to a government hospital here.
