4 devotees killed, 9 injured accident in HP

Kullu, Oct 22 (UNI) Four devotees were killed and nine injured, four of them seriously, after the vehicle carrying them to the famous Kullu Dussehra festival overturned in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh yesterday, police sources today said.

The accident occurred at Panarsa, about 18 km from here, in Mandi district.

The sources said while two people, identified as Ramdas (43) and Sant Ram (48) died on the spot, two others identified as Laldas and Shiv Ram succumbed to their injuries on way to the hospital.

The seriously injured were referred to PGI, Chandigarh, while the rest were admitted to a government hospital here.
