Two nuns killed

Kottayam, Oct 21 (UNI) Two nuns of the Fathima Matha Convent in Nagampadam were killed when hollow bricks from a neighbouring multi-storey under construction building fell on them here today.

The deceased were identified as Sister Reshmy (33), a native of Alappuzha and Sister Maji (30), a native of Mala.

The mishap occurred when they were removing grass from the convent premises.

They died on the way to a nearby private hospital.
