PPP, PML(Q), MMA likely in Pak interim set-up
Islamabad, Oct 21 (UNI) Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf will form an interim government in consultation with PPP supremo Benazir Bhutto, MMA leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and ruling PML(Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein.
''President Musharraf will finalise the name for the premiership, the who's and how's of this caretaker set-up after having negotiations with these three leaders,'' senior journalist Shakeel Sheikh was reported as saying to Geo News.
The military ruler will not hold any discussions with any other leader for the formation of the caretaker set-up, government sources said.
The interim government will be finalised by November 10 after the Supreme Court ruling regarding the legality of Gen Musharraf's re-election.
The embattled Musharraf, a key US ally, is likely to be sworn in as President of the only nuclear-armed Islamic nation, announce doffing army uniform and establish the interim set-up.
