Mishap kills 1, hurts 32 in MP

Dhar, MP, Oct 21 (UNI) One person was killed and 32 were injured -- six of them critically -- after a private bus, en route from here to Indore, plunged onto a dry riverbed this afternoon, from a bridge on the Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway over the Bagedi river near this district's Utawad village, police said.

The severely injured were admitted to a private hospital and others were undergoing treatment at the District Hospital. Lalsingh Rajput (65) succumbed to his injuries in the evening.

The driver and conductor were among the injured.
