Iran says ex-negotiator to go to Rome atomic talks
TEHRAN, Oct 21 (Reuters) Ali Larijani, who quit as Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, and his replacement Saeed Jalili, will both attend atomic talks in Rome this week to try to defuse a row with the West, the Foreign Ministry said today.
''Dr Jalili will be there, and Dr Larijani will be there as well, serving as the representative of (Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei),'' Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini told a news conference, adding that the change in chief nuclear negotiator did not mean a change in atomic policy.
