Egotism takes man to nadir: preacher

Raipur, Oct 21 (UNI) In life, egotism takes man from the pinnacle to the nadir and an example was the Rakshas king Ravan who -- despite being a scholar and conqueror -- encountered defeat, opines an expert.

''Right use of knowledge, action and worship are imperative for attaining life's goals,'' preacher and Jeevan Management Institute head Pandit Vijay Shankar Mehta said here yesterday while speaking on the subject 'Shikhar Se Shunya' during a programme organised by Culture Department at Guru Ghasidas Museum on the eve of Vijay Dashami.

Before commencing any work, a person should introspect and consult family members, he added.
