Dussehra celebrated in MP

Bhopal, Oct 21 (UNI) Dussehra, symbolising the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety across Madhya Pradesh today amid tight security.

Ramlila was organised at several places here. Rakshas monarch Ravan, Meghnad and Kumbhkaran were burnt in effigy at the Tantya Tope Nagar Dussehra Maidan.

Reports of celebrations were received from the state's commercial capital Indore, cantonment town Jabalpur, citadel town Gwalior and other places.
