David's body brought to Puducherry
Puducherry, Oct 21 (UNI) The body of David, son of a retired police head constable, who died under mysterious circumstances in Sudan, was brought to Puducherry today.
The body was taken to the Government General Hospital, where a post-mortem was done, and later handed over to his parents.
David, who was employed in Dubai, was promoted and transferred to Sudan one-and-a-half year ago.
He allegedly informed his parents that he wanted to resign his job and return to India. However David's resignation was not accepted and few days later, the company informed his father that he had committed suicide.
His father had sought the help of the government to find out the truth and bring his son's body to Puducherry.
Chief Minister N Rangaswamy and Welfare Minister M Kandasamy contacted M O H Farrok, India's Ambassodor to the Saudi Arabia for help.
The body would be buried at Kirumambakkam near Bahour this evening.
