2 brothers shot dead in land dispute

Azamgarh, Oct 21 (UNI) Two brothers were shot dead in a firing over a land dispute under Rani-ki-sarai area here today.

Police said Talukdar Singh and his brother Paras Nath of Rudri village had a long pending property dispute with another person of the same hamlet.

The two sides came face-to-face around noon and in the subsequent firing, the brothers were killed.

Two others, including Paras's son Ashish and Shivpujan, were also wounded and taken to hospital.

Ashish was said to be critical and battling for life.

Investigations were on.
