'Indo-US ties not to mar relations with Russia'

Moscow, Oct 17 2007 : Defence Minister A K Antony today expressed optimism that his visit to Russia would be path breaking and some major defence deals would be clinched.

He exuded confidence that Indo-Russian ties would enhance further. Antony also said that there was progress in talks to jointly develop and produce a fifth generation fighter aircraft for the Indian and Russian air forces and major progress is expected in this initiative.
