Bhutto confirms her return

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Oct 17 2007: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto today confirmed that she would fly home to Karachi on 18th October.

This will end more than eight years of her self-exile and lead her party into national elections due in early January. She has refused to be put off by requests from President Pervez Musharraf to delay her return, or by threats of assassination from Pakistani Taliban fighters.
