Gold, silver ease: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, Oct 20: Spot gold and silver declined today in the opening session as silver slashed by Rs 250 per kg from its previous close of Rs 18,570 and gold by Rs 50 per ten gm from its previous close of Rs 9,915 because of sustain heavy selling pressure, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,320, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,865, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold Rs 9,915.
