Vijayawada, Oct 20 (UNI) Bharatiya Jana Shakti (BJS) President Uma Bharati today announced that a 'Third Front' would be formed by her party in 2009.

Addressing a press conference here, she said the party would invite all the leaders, who had maintained moral values in politics to join the 'Third Front'.

Ms Bharati said she would not seek votes in the name of 'Hindutva' and the party's agenda was to give importance to the economy and root out corruption and unemployment in the country.

The BJS leader added she would concentrate on pro-Hindutva, pro-poor, pro-downtrodden issues after the 'Third Front' took shape.

The BJS Chief said she was eyeing on the 'Third Front', as the BJP was in 'dilemma' on every issue and the Congress was totally 'finished'. ''A foreigner like Ms Sonia Gandhi should not rule the country in future,'' she added.

''Despite being the followers of late Socialist Leader Ram Manohar Lohia, Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Mulayam Singh Yadav were involved in rampant corruption,'' she alleged.
