4 trains diverted, 1 rescheduled in Kolkata

Kolkata, Oct 20: The 8645 up Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express has been rescheduled, while four other trains have been diverted due to derailment of three carriages of a goods train between Gondabihar and Chandel on the Chandel-Muri section of South Eastern Railway (SER).

SER sources said here today that the 8645 up Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express, scheduled to leave Howrah at 1145 hours, would depart at 1830 hours today.

Meanwhile, the 8102 up Jammu-Tatanagar Express, 8615 up Howrah-Hatia Express, 8616 down Hatia-Howrah Express and 2876 down New Delhi-Puri Nilanchal Express would run through diverted routes, the sources added.
