Wipro inks MoU with Osmania Eng College

Hyderabad, Oct 19 (UNI) Wipro Technologies today signed an MoU with Osmania University College of Engineering (OUCOE) to take its ongoing collaboration with the academia to the next level.

This MoU was the first of-its-kind, Wipro had signed with a university in Andhra Pradesh and Southern India, a press release said.

The MoU, signed by Wipro Vice President-Strategic Resources B Pradeep and the College Principal D N Reddy, envisaged a set of planned interventions like faculty development programme, technical sponsorships and student workshops.

Mr Pradeep said, ''the objective of MoU is to build industry academia relationship and empower students to gear up for the challenges of corporate world.'' Mr Reddy said, ''the partnership would definitely give our students and faculty an added advantage to our existing facilities and expertise in imparting technical education.'' UNI
