Reaping benefits of grape cultivation

Srinagar, Oct 19 2007: Farmers in Jammu and Kashmir are reaping the benefits of grape cultivation, a trend that is fast picking up in the Valley with the backing of the state horticulture department.

The picturesque Himalayan state with its meadows, pine forests and snow-capped peaks, is well known for its fruit and dry fruit range. But now grape have also been added to the list.
