Parliament panel summons Ronan

New Delhi, Oct 16 2007 : India"s Ambassador to the United States Ronan Sen has been summoned by the Parliamentary Privileges Committee for his remarks allegedly targeting the MPs in India by calling them “headless chickens".

According to the sources, no date has been fixed for his appearance before the committees, but the decision will soon be taken by the committees of the two houses, which are tasked with matters of decorum and propriety.
