Trader arrested for using fake draft

Surat, Oct 19 (UNI) Police have registered a case against a textile trader for allegedly trying to withdraw money from the Union Bank of India using a fake draft here today.

According to police, the trader with Jagdamba textiles tried to take out money from the bank by giving a fake draft of Rs 14, 875.

After it was found that the draft was fake, the bank registered a case against the trader.
