Thieves decamp with Silver worth over Rs 60 lakhs at Fort

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) Silver worth over Rs 60 lakh was stolen today from the Usha Dev International building, located at Mind Road in the busy Fort area of South Mumbai, police said.

According to police officials, the thieves entered the second, fourth and seventh floor of the commercial building and decamped with 330 kg of silver worth Rs 61,37,792.

The theft came to light at 0830 hrs. However, preliminary investigations showed the robbery to have taken place in the wee hours of today, police said.

There have been no arrests as yet, police sources said.
